Some customers have an internal testing team, and we complement it with qualified personnel who get integrated to their processes and technology in a short time. With this, they have gained productivity and flexibility, because they call us only when needed, without “acquiring” a fix cost in their payroll.

 

 

 

Some clients realize they are loosing time and money because they are not performing testing, or because they are not doing it properly due to a lack of know-how and/or specialized infrastructure.
They usually make this finding after they see repeatedly that software development projects very seldom finish on time, becoming more expensive than planned, and that maintenance becomes a headache in terms of complexity, adaptability, and cost (remember that maintenance is one the longest and most expensive development phases).
Sometimes, the development team realizes in early stages of a project that a software component is not behaving well, but nobody planned neither testing activities (which would permit to assess the size of the problem), nor time for corrections, because they tried to save money.
At the end they maybe did not invest in testing, but they certainly did not save money at all, because they finished late and with a product whose maintenance is expensive.

During the last two years, taking advantage of our experience in software testing, we have become the testing department of several medium enterprises whose operations are in Mexico, USA, and/or India.
They have hired us to gain a specialized strategic partner, committed to detect the most harmful anomalies as soon as they are introduced in the development phases, saving time, money and headaches for them.

The process we have been following is the next one:

1. (When needed) A senior tester from us visits the client’s facilities to plan, to assimilate his technology and processes, and to set and launch the execution and supervision processes.
During this time, the testing infrastructure and organization is set-up in Guadalajara, and testing starts here.

2. At the date planned, the senior tester returns to Guadalajara to head locally the testing team.

3. Testing operations stabilize, in terms of communication and productivity.

4. A (long) phase of continuous improvement starts, adding more value to our customers (for example by introducing testing activities in earlier development phases).

This service has helped our clients to remain flexible, competitive and focused in their core-businesses.
